Hello Everyone: I hope this blog is working. I spent so a lot of time setting up my blog for the last class and it ever worked. I got so frustrated with the blogging that I had to drop the class. I have had more success this time around. I am excited to resume this class with all of you and I hope this first blog is reaching out to all of you.

ReplyDeleteI loved the Autogenic Training Technique session. I practice the power of suggestion a lo,t mostly when I know I need to get myself back to a better sense of mind. I was able to feel the relaxation benefits from this session.
I started out with a slow breath in and out. I quickly suggested that I needed to relax by moving the flow of my blood from my abdominal area towards by arms and hands. The slow breathing and the power of suggestion allowed me to feel the warmth and heaviness in my arms and hands. '
I had a hard time holding this thought for long because I am easily distracted and I was dealing with outside noises from my children's X-Box. I was able to relax for almost a minute.
I struggle with relaxation because I always feel as though I should be doing something and my mind wonders very quickly. I am working on practicing daily relaxation and I am getting better at it.
